Dedicated to spreading the good word about Belgian essential productions. The best Belgian Beers find their righteous place on the shelves and in their proper containing devices.
From Petit Futé
“The Belgians are proud of their chocolate, alright, but they don’t generally tend to take their beer seriously. As if that extensive range of outstanding beers was really just something quaint.” The speaker is one Pierre Zuber, who immigrated here from Switzerland a long time ago; 14 years ago he noticed that there wasn’t a single decent beer shop in the centre of Brussels, so he opened one himself. Délices & Caprices is a shop, but Zuber’s aim is to introduce interested customers to the whole range of lambiek/lambic, abbey, Trappist, and special beers and teach them to appreciate them. So you can drop in for a glass any time. Or you can book a tasting session: during which Zuber will tell you about the brewers, their brewing methods, the district where the brewery operates, and even about other traditional products from that district.
